Mother Owl

Picture
To make the mother (tallest owl), I took a small cardboard tube and folded in the top. Then, I cut cupcake wrappers in half and cut out the middle part. I taped the ruffled part to the side I wanted to be the front of the owl. For the eyes, I cut circles out of a paper plate and added details with Sharpie. I cut a triangle from card stock to make the nose. To finish, I cut a half circle from cardstock and curved the edges for wings.

Owlets

For the first owlet, I cut another cardboard tube in half, folded in the top of one half, and taped a quarter of a cupcake wrapper to the front. To
make the wings, I taped two more quarters of a cupcake
wrapper sideways to the back. The eyes and beak are the same as the mother.

The second owlet is the same as the first, except that the wings are bigger and the beak is wider.
For the third owlet, I decided to try something new. I taped eighths to the back instead of quarters, and I put the beak under the eyes instead of on top. the rest is the same.
